Zombie Blasterz and The Trail: Kyker Farms After Dark
Prepare to be spooked! You’ll shriek with delight at Kyker Farms this fall. Kyker Farms offers a bone chilling experience called Kyker Farms After Dark where you have the option of choosing one or two exhilarating activities, Zombie Blasterz or The Trail. Zombie Blasterz is an interactive paintball experience for all ages in the Dead Woods at Kyker Farms. Hunt and shoot paintballs at live Zombies without being shot back! Feel your heart will pound as your eyes quickly scan the surroundings waiting for the creatures to emerge! Frantically find your way through The Trail and Zombie Blasterz without a flashlight Both haunted attractions are open Friday and Saturday nights, October 9- October 31! Zombie Blasterz admission and The Trail admission is $15 each per person. If you are interested in a combination ticket, purchase admission for both for $20 per person. Non-frightful attractions including Kyker Farms Corn Maze, Hayrides and Pumpkin Patch are open Thursday-Sunday now through October 31.
Ripley’s Haunted Adventure
If you are looking for a spine-tingling thrill, check out Ripley’s Haunted Adventure in Gatlinburg. Ripley’s Haunted Adventure is unlike any other haunted house you’ll find lurking in the shadows this October. You’ll find live actors hidden in every crevice of a giant haunted mansion. To add year-round fright, Ripley’s Haunted Adventure is open 365 days a year!
On October 31, prepare for fall-themed family fun for all ages at the Sevier County Fairgrounds. Smoky Mountain Zombie Fest is an all day event packed with fall excitement! The event begins at 8:00 am with a 5K run. Then practice your bean bag throwing and prepare to enter the Corn Hole Tournament or dress up your doggy and enter the HOWL-O-WEEN Pooch Parade for a chance to win best dressed! (Portions of the proceeds will go to benefit the Sevier County Humane Society and Pets Without Parents). There will also be a Kids’ Zone with crafts, inflatable bounce houses, storytelling with life-sized puppets and even hands-on activities like Legoland, bird feeder building, baking spider cookies and more! Teens can enjoy hillbilly golf, a rock climbing wall and paintball! By late afternoon the bands will be rocking during the Band Jam Competition. Several bands will perform for up to an hour each. Eventgoers can vote for best band, and the grand prize winner will perform live on stage at next year’s Bloomin’ BBQ and Bluegrass Festival. As night falls, there will be an indoor safe zone for trick or treating for children ages 12 and under. Admission to the Smoky Mountain Zombie Fest is $5 per guest with heaps of free things to do on the inside! Come out for a fall thrill in Sevierville!
