Did you spend hours as a kid pouring over the Guinness Book of World Records? Many children grew up with this book, and the idea that one day, they might also be a world record holder. While visiting Sevierville, why not take a walk down memory lane and visit the Gatlinburg Guinness World Records Adventure?! There are exhibits, displays, games, trivia, video, themed galleries, and more.
Always Open for Fun!
The Guinness World Records Adventure is never closed – it makes a point to be open when other attractions would be closed for a holiday or the season. You’ll never be turned away from this museum, which is a plus for travelers trying to plan an itinerary. Inside are over 20 interactive games, which are a big hit among visitors of all ages. Try your skills at games like Quick Draw, Frisbee Golf, and others. There is also an ongoing challenge to break a record in the library’s interactive challenge gallery.
Check out the Odditorium Inside
The World Records museum is considered both weird and charming by most who walk through, but there’s no place more exciting than the Gatlinburg Odditorium. With over 500 exhibits, all dedicated to the odd and curious, it takes about 45 minutes to get through a tour of this area. You’ll see things such as shrunken heads, a mirror maze, and more.
Groups are more than encouraged to make reservations, and Guinness will help you host a birthday party too! Field trips are always welcome as well though the company does not host weddings or receptions anymore. Large groups can walk through the standard tour from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. every day. Be sure to look for discount tickets online! Groups over 10 can email to get new price quotes.
