Thanksgiving is just around the corner and that has us thinking about all the things we are thankful for. It can be easy to forget the incredible things we are blessed with so it’s always good to step back and remember how much you’re blessed. Here are some of the things we are thankful for!
1. The Smoky Mountains
The Great Smoky Mountains never fail to take our breath away. The majesty of the incredible ridges leaves us in awe and reminds us of all the beauty around us. There’s so much to be thankful for!
We are thankful for family because without them trips to the Smoky Mountains wouldn’t be as rewarding!
Friends are the ones who choose to be in your life. They put up with your crazy ways and give us a reason to be thankful.
4. Small Towns
Small towns have a way of making you feel at home no matter who you are or where you are from. We love our small town at the foothills of the Smoky Mountains.
5. Good Books
How can you spend a perfect day in the Smokies? With a good book of course! We are thankful for those books that allow us to dream big and escape to different places.
6. Mountain Air
There is nothing like the smell of crisp mountain air. Imagine standing on top of the Great Smoky Mountains, the wind blowing through your hair, the smell of fresh air, and a perfect view. How could we not be thankful!
7. Southern Food
Mmm, food! We are grateful for apple fritters, chicken n’ dumplings, country fried steak, fried okra. mac and cheese, and all the southern food you could think of. We are grateful that we can taste some of the best country style food right here in Sevierville!
8. Southern Hospitality
When you visit somewhere new you can often feel out of place, but not when you visit a southern city like Sevierville. We are grateful for Southern Hospitality that makes you feel welcome – even if you are far away from home.
9. Country Roads
We are grateful for country roads. Winding through the Smokies with the windows down and our favorite country song on – it doesn’t get much better!
When the Smoky Mountains are covered in snow we couldn’t be happier. Snow days in the mountains mean – hot chocolate, a cozy fireplace, and a fantastic view. There’s nothing like a fresh powder of snow in Sevierville and for that we are thankful!
